About Oceans Pacific

A bank built for people who move.

Founded in Singapore in 1998 to serve clients whose lives crossed borders before banking did. Twenty-eight years later, that is still the whole idea.

Our story

Why we started.

In 1998 a group of corporate bankers kept meeting the same problem: clients who earned in one country, lived in another and had family in a third were being treated as an edge case by every institution they dealt with. Accounts could not talk to each other. Transfers took a week. Advice stopped at the border.

Oceans Pacific was founded to treat that life as the normal one. We built a single ledger that holds many currencies, hired advisers who understand more than one tax system, and applied for licences market by market rather than routing everything through one head office.

We have stayed independent and privately held, which means we answer to clients and regulators rather than to a quarterly earnings call. It also means we grow slowly, and we are comfortable with that.

What we hold to

Four commitments.

Price in daylight

Every fee appears as a fee. We do not hide a margin inside an exchange rate or an interest calculation.

A person, not a queue

Named advisers, direct lines and support staffed around the clock in four languages.

Patient money

We lend against cashflow and character as well as collateral, and we would rather restructure than repossess.

Answer to the rules

We hold local licences in every market we operate in, and we publish what our regulators require and a little more.

How we use your data

We process personal data to run your accounts, meet legal obligations and prevent financial crime. We do not sell client data. You can request a copy of what we hold, ask for corrections, or object to marketing at any time.

Complaints

Tell us and we will acknowledge within two business days and resolve within fifteen. If you are not satisfied, you may refer the matter to the financial ombudsman in your market at no cost.

Accessibility

This site targets WCAG 2.2 level AA. Every page can be operated by keyboard, text resizes to 200% without loss of content, colour contrast meets the AA ratio, and motion is reduced automatically for anyone who has asked their device for that. If something here does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.

Product disclosure

Every product on this site is subject to status, eligibility and the applicable terms and conditions, and is not available in every market we serve. Rates, fees and figures are representative, may change, and are not an offer. Where a product is secured against your home or another asset, that asset is at risk if you do not keep up repayments.
